My Baby is One! {Bend, Oregon Children’s Photography}
I know I have been MIA lately…but it doesn’t mean I haven’t been taking photos…if anything I’ve been taking MORE! I haven’t taken a lot of portraits lately because I haven’t been trying to market myself here in Bend. Chad is gone every day and a lot of nights working his tail off at the hospital so that means I have all 4 little ones all day and night all to myself. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t find time for you! I have a little series coming up called “Taming your Rebel” where I will go into depth on how to use your Canon Rebel…but really it can adapt to any DSLR. I just know a lot of wannabe mamarazzi’s get a Rebel because of the great price for a great camera…but then leave it on Auto. I want to show you how not to be afraid of your manual settings and really be in charge of your camera.
Now let’s get to some photos!
We went up to Tumalo Falls on Saturday and I snapped a few photos of my little one year old.
I really don’t think we could have named him better, our little Oliver with his milky white skin and blonde, blonde hair and his tiny little self…it’s just so fitting.
Plus this kid eats everything…as you can see in these few pics, rocks, cheese puffs, dirt, sticks, always asking “Please sir, may I have some more?” (although it is never that polite!)

Just a Quickie
Quickest photo shoot ever.
I don’t even think it lasted a whole minute with this little guy.
He was done as soon as he started, but I did manage to get three little smiles in that amount of time.
Such a cute little goof ball though!

I was out doing a promotional shoot for Tea Collection for my other blog and needed to get my 3 year old’s pictures done, so I seized the opportunity.
This kid has me wrapped around his finger and I get lost in his dimples. No matter how naughty he is, I just can’t stay mad for too long.

This is my little sassafrass lass here.
I love taking back to school photos my way rather than the mug shots that are typical from school.
I also just like to have an excuse to take another annual formal photo shoot of my kids other than their birthdays.
Like I really need an excuse to take pictures of this cute girl huh?
She is growing up much too quickly…

5th Birthday Bend Oregon Children’s Photographer
I am behind on getting my own kids’ photos up, this one turned 5 back in March!
These little treasures have been patiently awaiting me to give them attention, and it was like finding money in my pocket today when I pulled them up.
I love this kid so much! He graduated from pre-school today and the teacher just gushed about him in front of everyone about how he is the most loving child she’s ever met.
How lucky am I to be the recipient of so much of that love?
Could those eyes be any bigger? Or those eyelashes thicker or longer?
Goo, he turns me to goo I tell ya!
One more thing about this little guy-he is crazy silly!
Sometimes it drives me nutty telling him to settle down 8 million times a day, but sometimes (and hopefully mostly) he just makes me laugh!
Toph stuff-you are a riot!

6 months Old – Bend Oregon Baby Photographer
This one is mine! My little Oliver. {And one small confession-he is actually 7 months in these photos…that 6th month kind of got away from me. Shhhh!}
I truly couldn’t be more smitten with this little guy-no matter how much he upsets my perfectly scheduled days into something that much more resembles chaos-I couldn’t love him more.
He loves sitting in the grass, which is a first for my kids-he actually loves just about anything…except being separated from his mama.
He is expressive, funny and affectionate.
I wish this one was a little more sharp…but look at those 2 little teeth in that full on grin-sharpness aside-I LOVE this photo! This is how I see him when I close my eyes at night to dream of his sweet little face.
This is his, “Mom, you’ve put me down long enough, it’s time to pick me up before I get mad” face. I see this look a lot too…
